Summary
We are seeking a detail -oriented and proactive Billing Executive to join our finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant billing operations across vendor and client engagements. You will be responsible for end -to -end invoice generation, GST -compliant billing, vendor payment processing, and maintaining financial records using Zoho and CRM software. This position requires strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of tax regulations, and the ability to resolve billing discrepancies efficiently. As a key contributor to financial accuracy and operational efficiency, you will support seamless cash flow management and strengthen compliance with tax laws. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Zoho Software, experienced in billing workflows, and committed to delivering high -quality financial documentation with precision.
Responsibilities
- Generate and dispatch accurate invoices for clients and vendors in compliance with GST regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile vendor billing records, ensuring timely processing of payments and receipts.
- Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and file periodic tax returns, including GSTR -1, GSTR -3B, and other statutory filings as required.
- Utilize Zoho Books and Zoho CRM to manage billing cycles, track payment statuses, and maintain customer/vendor records.
- Monitor billing deadlines and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collections.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and finance teams to verify billing data and resolve invoicing issues.
- Maintain a secure and organized digital archive of all billing documents, receipts, and tax filings.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance billing accuracy, speed, and compliance.
- Provide support during audits and internal/external financial reviews with complete documentation.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands -on experience in billing, accounts, or finance operations.
- Proficiency in Zoho Books, Zoho CRM, and other accounting software (Zoho Suite).
- Strong understanding of GST laws, invoicing standards, and tax return filing procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in invoice generation, vendor billing, and payment reconciliation.
- Excellent problem -solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Familiarity with digital documentation systems and data security best practices.
- Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and document management tools.
