BIM Designer - MEP Plumbing and Fire Services

This position involves
working within the MEP Design & Engineering Team at Axium Global Delivery Centre in Andheri, Mumbai. The team consists of
skilled professionals, including BIM designers, mechanical,
electrical and plumbing engineers with varied experience. The
BIM Designer will be responsible for creating accurate and
detailed 3D models of plumbing and firefighting systems for
various projects and will be working directly with leading MEP
design consulting firms from the UK, USA, Australia and the UAE
on flagship projects.

Key Roles and
Responsibilities:

• Should have at
  least 3+ years of experience in the plumbing &
  firefighting domain using Revit
  
• Create detailed
  plumbing & fire drawings or models using
  Revit
  
• Independently
  carry out accurate 3D Revit MEP coordination for rooms,
  corridors, risers, plant areas, etc
  
• Ability to learn other MEP services modelling
  
• Learn and implement
  various services standards and building codes
  
• Understand various MEP
  drawings/plans/sections
  
• Work with the team to
  deliver detailed MEP coordination models/drawings within
  the allotted time frames and of the required quality
  
• Sound knowledge of
  various aspects of building services, including HVAC,
  mechanical pipework for heating/cooling, domestic water
  supplies, gases, sprinklers and drainage systems
  
• Create detailed MEP
  services, modelling and coordination using Revit
  MEP
  
  

Qualification and
Experience Required  :

• ITI/NCTVT certified
  HVAC/electrical/plumbing draftsman with relevant
  experience
