Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Senior BIM Model Author with strong expertise in Structural Engineering and BIM 5D workflows. The role involves creating high-fidelity, data-rich BIM models for international infrastructure and building projects while ensuring compatibility with quantity take-off, scheduling, and OpenBIM collaboration standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain detailed 3D structural BIM models (Concrete, Steel, Masonry)
  

• Ensure compliance with German LOD/LOIN standards
  

• Enrich BIM models with attributes for automated quantity take-off workflows
  

• Link 3D model elements with construction schedules for 4D simulations
  

• Develop construction sequence simulations for logistical and safety analysis
  

• Perform progress monitoring using target vs. actual comparisons
  

• Support logistical planning through timeline-based visualizations
  

• Conduct clash detection and quality assurance checks
  

• Manage IFC exports and BCF-based communication for OpenBIM collaboration
  

• Ensure compliance with ISO 19650 and VDI 2552 standards
  

Required Skills:

• Expert-level experience in Autodesk Revit / Allplan / Tekla
  

• Strong experience in BIM 5D and quantity take-off workflows
  

• Experience with tools like RIB iTWO, Nevaris, Navisworks, Solibri
  

• Strong understanding of OpenBIM (IFC 4, BCF 2.1)
  

• Experience in 4D simulation tools such as Synchro 4D or Navisworks Simulate
  

• Knowledge of scheduling tools like MS Project or Primavera P6
  

• Strong understanding of structural engineering and rebar modeling
  

• Familiarity with DIN EN ISO 19650 standards
  

• Excellent problem-solving and coordination skills
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working on German construction/infrastructure projects
  

• Knowledge of German BIM terminology (AIA, BAP, Tragwerksplanung)
  

• Exposure to progress tracking tools such as Imerso or Buildots
  

Eligibility / Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
