The BIM Modeler (Architecture) is a highly skilled professional responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating architectural Building Information Models using software such as Revit. This role involves producing high-quality design documentation deliverables, ensuring model accuracy, and supporting design coordination across multiple disciplines. The BIM Modeler will also play a key role in mentoring junior team members, supporting BIM implementation strategies, and maintaining organizational BIM standards and workflows.
Develop, refine, and maintain detailed architectural BIM models throughout all project phases.
Update models to reflect design changes and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Prepare detailed drawings, plans, sections, elevations, 3D views, and schedules extracted from BIM models.
Support preparation of tender, IFC, and construction documentation packages.
Coordinate model integration with multidisciplinary teams (Structural, MEP, Interior, Landscape, etc.).
Conduct clash detection and work with relevant teams to resolve identified conflicts.
Perform regular model audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project and BIM standards.
Ensure compliance with international design codes, project specifications, and internal quality frameworks.
Mentor, train, and support junior BIM modelers on technical processes and best practices.
Provide technical problem-solving support related to modeling and workflow challenges.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of BIM execution plans, templates, libraries, and standards.
Support the continuous improvement of BIM processes, workflows, and documentation procedures.
Manage assigned tasks, deliverables, and deadlines while coordinating with project managers and design leads.
Ensure BIM deliverables meet project milestones and quality expectations.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Civil or a related field.
Minimum 2years of relevant experience in architectural BIM modeling and documentation.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, and related tools
Familiarity with BIM standards such as ISO 19650, LOD, and industry protocols
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
