The Block Program Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful implementation and oversight of healthcare programs at the block level. This position ensures seamless coordination across hospitals, government agencies, field teams, and healthcare providers, driving the execution of critical health initiatives in alignment with organizational goals. By monitoring program performance, maintaining accurate reporting, and addressing operational challenges, the manager ensures compliance, efficiency, and impact. The role is essential in strengthening healthcare delivery systems and improving community health outcomes through effective program management and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily execution of healthcare programs within the block, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
Serve as a key liaison between hospitals, government bodies, field teams, and central program offices
Track project timelines, deliverables, and operational KPIs to ensure on -time and quality implementation
Maintain comprehensive program reports, MIS data, and documentation for transparency and accountability
Conduct regular field visits and review meetings to assess progress and address on -ground challenges
Ensure strict adherence to healthcare policies, operational guidelines, and regulatory standards
Support the training, onboarding, and coordination of healthcare personnel and field staff
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks; escalate critical issues to appropriate stakeholders as needed
Lead initiatives to improve processes, systems, and workflows for enhanced program efficiency
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a closely related field
3–6 years of proven experience in healthcare operations, program management, or public health project coordination
Demonstrated ability in stakeholder coordination, communication, and cross -functional collaboration
Prior experience in hospital operations, public health programs, or healthcare project management is highly preferred
Proficiency in MIS reporting, data tracking, and operational documentation
Willingness and ability to travel frequently for field visits and coordination
