If you want to be part of an inclusive, adaptable, and forward-thinking organization, apply now.\n\nWe are currently seeking a Blockchain Principal Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).\n\nJob ResponsibilitiesOverall 12+ years of strong IT experience in handling complex projects with end to end delivery expertise.At least 5+ years of Blockchain experience in the areas of design and development of services and smart contracts.Build, Develop, Implement, and maintain core blockchain modules in Go using the Cosmos SDK Blockchain, including a sophisticated, role-based token-factory for native asset issuance.Design and implement custom logic within the ABCI++ interface (Prepare-Proposal/Process-Proposal) to enable advanced features and optimizations.Own and evolve the long\u2011term blockchain technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements.Guide engineering teams in adopting best practices for designing secure, scalable, and high\u2011availability blockchain\u2011based systems.Configure, launch, and maintain our blockchain network, including genesis configuration, validator setup, and consensus parameter tuning.Expert-level proficiency in Go.Strong proficiency in RUST \u2013 Ability to understand, dissect and build servicesDemonstrable, hands-on experience developing and maintaining custom modules for the Cosmos SDK.Solid understanding of CometBFT consensus and the Application Blockchain Interface (ABCI/ABCI++).Experience in launching or contributing to a Cosmos-based blockchain network.Implement and manage cross-chain functionality using the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol.Guide/Write exhaustive Unit, Integration, and End-to-End tests to guarantee the security, correctness, and performance of the core protocol.Participate in architectural discussions, conduct rigorous code reviews, and contribute to our high standards for technical documentation.Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in our development, test, and production environments.Professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend or distributed systems.Deeply committed to writing clear, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.Experience in cloud adoption of Blockchain applications including GCP (target platforms) or similar Blockchain frameworksJob Expectations \u0026 Desired Qualifications:Define and drive the end\u2011to\u2011end architecture for blockchain platforms, including Layer\u20111, Layer\u20112, and modular blockchain components.Evaluate and implement scalable architectures such as rollups, sharding, state channels, and distributed data\u2011availability layers.Experience in development of enterprise scale banking applications will be a plusAbility to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships.Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology governance risk and compliance processes such as policies, control standards, risk management concepts, or information security.Collaborate with product teams to translate business use cases into technical blockchain capabilities.Mentor and coach senior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, experimentation, and engineering excellence.Engage with the broader blockchain ecosystem (research communities, open\u2011source projects, standards bodies).Experience in FinTech domain in the areas of cross boarder payments and Wallet Cryptocurrency services will be an added advantage.\n\nAbout NTT DATA\n\nNTT DATA is a $30 billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
