The engineer will own specific project components and deliver software within agreed timelines, working independently. The role requires collaboration with Bluetooth test, audio, application development, and platform teams to support connectivity programs across diverse business areas.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.\n\nAtleast 2 years experience in below areas.\n\n\u2022 Proficient in C programming with experience in writing efficient code for memory-constrained embedded systems.\n\n\u2022 Expertise in Bluetooth specifications for both host and controller.\n\n\u2022 Ability to contribute to Bluetooth SIG specification development.\n\n\u2022 Experience designing and developing new protocols and profiles aligned with product and BT-SIG roadmaps.\n\n\u2022 In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Bluetooth/BLE profiles and protocols.\n\n\u2022 Capability to breakdowns work, do feasibility studies, get some rough effort estimates, and identify potential risks.\n\n\u2022 Skill in defining clear and useful module interfaces.\n\n\u2022 Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, especially related to embedded systems.\n\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills for creating detailed design documentation.\n\n\u2022 Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for problem-solving.\n\nPreferred Skills and Qualities\n\n\u2022 Experience with Bluetooth upper and lower stack layers, including ATT/GATT, L2CAP, RFCOMM, SDP, SMP, and lower layers like LL/LM and Baseband.\n\n\u2022 Proficiency in Linux/RTOS development, including IPC, multithreading, and debugging in user space.\n\n\u2022 Mentoring experience for new or less experienced engineers.\n\n\u2022 Familiarity with Bluetooth sniffer tools, air trace and log analysis, and embedded debuggers.\n\n\u2022 Ability to manage multiple simultaneous assignments.\n\n\u2022 Willingness to travel to other Qualcomm locations for knowledge transfer, project cooperation, and interoperability events.\n\n\u2022 Understanding of customer/client relationship dynamics.\n\n\u2022 Python scripting skills are a bonus.\n\n\u2022 Self-motivated, open-minded, adaptable team player comfortable with minimal supervision and accountability for deliverables .\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
