Boomi Integration Architect

Role Summary:

Own the end-to-end integration architecture for Track 1 across Boomi, Kafka, APIs, Spring Boot services, third-party platforms, and Track 2 dependencies. Define reusable, secure, resilient, and observable integration patterns for all four brand migrations.

  Overall Experience: 8–12 years in enterprise integration, including at least 5 years in integration or solution architecture.

  Leadership Experience: Proven architecture leadership across complex, multi-system digital programs.

  Boomi Proficiency: Expert in platform architecture, API Management, Atom/Molecule patterns, deployment, monitoring, tuning, and governance.

  Kafka Proficiency: Advanced in event architecture, topics, partitions, schemas, consumer groups, replay, security, observability, and capacity planning.

  
  


• 
  

  Integration Services Proficiency: Expert in API-led, event-driven, batch, and file-based integration patterns.

  
  


• 
  

  Architecture: Define target architecture, reference patterns, service boundaries, canonical models, and non-functional requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Interface Design: Lead interface discovery, dependency analysis, service-contract definition, and architecture decisions.

  
  


• 
  

  Security: Define OAuth 2.0/OIDC, certificate, secret, encryption, and least-privilege access patterns.

  
  


• 
  

  Resilience: Design for scalability, availability, idempotency, retries, reconciliation, auditability, and disaster recovery.

  
  


• 
  

  Domain Integration: Guide integrations with ERP, OMS, payments, identity, search, CMS, loyalty, analytics, and customer-service platforms.

  
  


• 
  

  Reuse: Promote common integration components while controlling brand-specific extensions.

  
  


• 
  

  Technical Governance: Review designs and code and guide Boomi, Kafka, API, and application teams.

  
  


• 
  

  Quality Assurance: Support contract, integration, performance, resilience, security, and cutover-readiness testing.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaboration: Coordinate with product owners, vendors, security, operations, enterprise architecture, and Track 2 teams.

  
  


• 
  

  Required Skills: Strong stakeholder communication, technical decision-making, mentoring, documentation, and risk management.

  Preferred Skills: Retail, digital commerce, SFCC migration, cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, PCI DSS, and AI governance.
