Job Description
Role:
Branch Sales Manager must work closely with the Branch Head to drive the overall Sales, growth and profit of the branch through the sales channel as well as individually.
Manage and train the Sales team, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction for achievement of the financial goals of the branch.
Must be aware of all the product lines of the bank.
Must oversee the sales on a daily basis and take ownership of achievement of the Sales Target and success of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain updated knowledge of the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India and all other regulatory authorities.
All reporting and management information to be provided on a timely basis to the higher management.
Encourage Sales staff to build Customer Relationships, conduct regular scheduled sales and be accountable for the sales performance.
Focus on expanding the existing customer relations and access local market conditions to identify prospective sales opportunities.
Review sales performance on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Ensure the best of branch sales by providing training, coaching, development and motivation.
Performing other tasks as may be assigned by the management.
