We are seeking a skilled BTP Administrator with strong expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) account governance, security, and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing BTP landscapes, ensuring compliance with governance policies, implementing security best practices, and supporting platform users and services. This role demands a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can manage cloud resources efficiently and safeguard the platform’s integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain SAP BTP accounts, including subaccounts, spaces, and global accounts.
Implement and enforce account governance policies and role-based access controls (RBAC) within BTP.
Configure and monitor BTP security settings, including identity and access management (IAM), authentication mechanisms, and data protection.
Administer BTP services such as Cloud Foundry, Kyma runtime, and other cloud-native services.
Manage service instances, bindings, and entitlements while ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
Monitor platform health, usage metrics, and audit logs to proactively identify security and operational risks.
Collaborate with development teams to facilitate smooth onboarding and efficient use of BTP resources.
Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting and available APIs.
Conduct regular security assessments and participate in vulnerability management activities.
Document operational procedures, security policies, and governance guidelines.
Provide troubleshooting and technical support related to BTP administration issues.
Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP features, best practices, and security advisories.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5 to 7 years of experience in SAP BTP administration or similar cloud platform administration roles.
Strong understanding of SAP BTP architecture, including global accounts, subaccounts, and spaces.
Hands-on experience with BTP security models, IAM, role collections, and OAuth configurations.
Proficiency in Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes (Kyma) runtimes on BTP.
Knowledge of SAP BTP services such as SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite.
Experience with identity providers (IdP), SSO configuration, and certificate management.
Familiarity with platform governance concepts including entitlements, quotas, and compliance.
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
Knowledge of SAP Cloud SDK, SAP CLI tools, and BTP APIs.
Experience with monitoring tools and log management for cloud platforms.
Good understanding of security standards and best practices in cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Relevant certifications in SAP BTP or cloud security are a plus.
Desired qualifications
Graduate degree (Science or Engineering) from premier institutes.
Willingness to travel for short and long term durations.
Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
Location and way of working
Base location: PAN India
This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
