Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail -oriented Business Analyst with 4–5 years of experience in the Banking domain, specializing in Risk & Compliance (GRC). The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to analyse requirements, support GRC implementations, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Experience with MetricStream GRC products is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  

• Prepare functional documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
  

• Work extensively with GRC Foundation Library, Operational Risk Management, Risk Events Management, Issues Management, and Compliance Management modules.
  

• Develop use cases, test cases, and functional scenarios to support development and QA teams.
  

• Conduct Compliance Testing, Control Setup, and manage Unified Control Library and Unified Compliance Framework.
  

• Support Operational Risk Management initiatives and ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  

• Work with MetricStream GRC products including ISM, Loss Events, Risk Assessment, and related modules.
  

• Perform system analysis and process mapping to ensure seamless integration between business processes and GRC tools.
  

• Communicate effectively with cross -functional teams including business users, developers, QA teams, and project managers.
  

• Assist Lead Business Analysts in strategic planning, documentation reviews, and project execution.
  

Required Skills

• 4–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking domain.
  

• Minimum 2+ years of hands -on experience with MetricStream GRC products.
  

• Strong knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) frameworks and tools.
  

• Experience in preparing BRD, FSD, use cases, and test documentation.
  

• Good understanding of Operational Risk Management and Compliance processes.
  

• Strong analytical, problem -solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  

• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables within defined timelines.
  

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with banking regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
  

• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
  

Educational Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech in Engineering or a related field.
  

• MBA in Marketing or related specialization is an added advantage.
