Business Analyst

Perform reconciliation of healthcare data including financial transactions, payments, and operational metrics to ensure accuracy between EHR and internal systems.
Investigate data exceptions, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve discrepancies and improve operational outcomes.
Analyze business processes and operational workflows to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and system improvement opportunities.
Generate reports and perform data analysis to monitor accounts receivable, payments, adjustments, and support management reporting needs.
Identify key business trends and provide analytical insights to support operational and strategic decisions.
Document processes, collaborate with internal teams, and support initiatives that enhance workflow efficiency and productivity.
Manage project tasks, prioritize workload, and ensure timely delivery of reconciliation and its operational activities.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders/Internal teams to address reconciliation, workflow, and data-related issues.

Requirements-

Bachelor’s degree.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data and identify discrepancies.
Proficiency in SQL (writing queries, joins, and data filtering) and Excel including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas for data analysis.
Knowledge of healthcare financial systems, insurance/patient payments, adjustments, reimbursement methodologies, and revenue cycle processes.
Familiarity with Epic system navigation, transaction reviews, and balance verification.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and HIPAA.
Ability to analyze data trends, identify data discrepancies, and support resolution through insights and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
