Business Analyst

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements, processes, and systems.
  

• Analyze and document detailed business requirements, including business rules, functional specifications, and system requirements.
  

• Facilitate requirement gathering workshops and manage stakeholder expectations.
  

• Translate business needs into software requirements that are clear, precise, and actionable for developers.
  

• Work with the project manager to prioritize requirements based on business value and technical complexity.
  

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team, ensuring that the requirements are implemented as intended.
  

• Develop user stories and use cases that explain the requirements in a way that is easily understood by both business and technical team members.
  

• Create data flow diagrams, process models, and wireframes to assist with design and development.
  

• Support the Quality Assurance team in creating test plans and validating test results.
  

• Participate in the Agile/Scrum process, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  

• Conduct business and systems analysis and design; understands user interface design.
  

• Assist with change management and user adoption of the system.
  

• Perform user acceptance testing and ensure the developed software meets the business requirements.
  

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a custom software development environment.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  

• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  

• Ability to create effective relationships, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels.
  

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing abilities.
  

• Familiarity with business analysis tools for requirements management, process modeling, and wireframing (e.g., JIRA, Balsamiq, Lucidchart).
  

• Understanding of databases, SQL, and other query languages.
  

• Knowledge of user experience design and user testing principles.
  

• Availability to work flexible hours when necessary to accommodate international clients or teams.
  

• Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (PMI Professional in Business Analysis).
  
• Experience with CRM, ERP, or other large integrated systems.
  
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management principles.
