Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong mix of technical, business, and airline domain expertise to analyze, optimize, and implement eCommerce solutions effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, mobile app analytics, and API integration within the airline industry.
Must-Have Skills (Mandatory)
Business Analysis & Functional Expertise:
- Requirement Gathering & Documentation – Conduct stakeholder meetings and write Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specification Documents (FSD).
- User Journey Mapping – Define personas, user flows, and use cases to enhance customer experience.
- Stakeholder Management – Engage with marketing, IT, customer service, and operations teams.
- Gap Analysis & Impact Assessment – Identify system deficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Agile/Scrum Methodologies – Work in sprints, write user stories, and collaborate with product owners.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking – Troubleshoot booking flows, payment failures, and system integration issues.
- Communication & Presentation – Translate technical details into business language for stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Leadership – Work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and IT developers.
Technical Skills:
- Mobile Platforms: Basic understanding of iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, and Xamarin.
- Mobile Databases: Familiarity with SQLite, Firebase, Realm, or cloud-based databases.
- Mobile App Data Analysis & SQL: Experience with Google Analytics for Mobile, Firebase Analytics, and SQL queries.
- API & Web Services: Understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and third-party system integrations.
- KPI Definition & Tracking: Measure mobile app performance through DAU, MAU, retention rate, and conversion rate.
- Mobile App Testing Techniques: Knowledge of manual and automated testing frameworks (Appium, Selenium, Espresso).
- Cross-Platform Testing: Ability to test apps across various devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.
Good-to-Have Skills (Optional)
- Knowledge of airline Passenger Service Systems (PSS).
- Understanding of airline frequent flyer programs and their integration with eCommerce.
- Familiarity with NDC (New Distribution Capability), One Order, and airline compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst with expertise in eCommerce and airline platforms.
- Strong experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
