About the Role-
We are seeking a self-motivated Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing data-driven insights to our Business and Product Management teams. You will leverage your strong SQL, Tableau, Python and Excel skills to extract and manipulate data from our database, and will be responsible for building and maintaining automated dashboards and data pipelines that feed into our reporting infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about data, detail-oriented, and eager to make a tangible impact on business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data-driven insights.
*Create and maintain automated dashboards using tools like Tableau, Superset to visualize key business metrics that support decision-making.
*Leverage SQL to extract and analyze data from various systems, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
*Use Python for exploratory automation, data analysis, trend spotting, and visual storytelling.
*Continuously evaluate existing reporting processes to identify improvement or automation opportunities.
*Monitor data flows and pipelines to ensure timely and accurate reporting; troubleshoot issues proactively.
*Uphold high standards of data quality and consistency across reporting and analysis efforts.
*Support stakeholders with ad-hoc analysis, business insights, and recommendations in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, Analytics or related field
-4-5 years of experience in data analysis, data operations, data engineering or similar role
-Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau/Superset and MS Excel
-Understanding of user engagement and retention metrics
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Good communication and presentation abilities
-Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
