Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Healthcare IT to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands -on experience in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Epic, and possess exceptional skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and requirement gathering with strong communication skills. This role is integral to bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions in healthcare IT projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals and healthcare IT standards.
  
• Engage with cross -functional teams, including developers, healthcare professionals, and management, to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  
• Analyze and interpret EHR data (e.g., Cerner, Epic) to ensure accurate integration and customization within healthcare systems.
  
• Develop and present clear and concise documentation, including business process flows, use cases, functional specifications, and testing scripts.
  
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
  
• Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings, project updates, and status presentations to ensure transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Collaborate with project managers to track timelines and deliverables, ensuring adherence to project scope and deadlines.
  
• Participate in software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities and ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance standards in healthcare IT.
  
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations for optimizations.
  

Qualifications:

• 4 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in Healthcare IT, at least last 2 years with hands -on knowledge of EHR systems (e.g., Cerner, Epic).
  
• Strong understanding of healthcare data standards and workflows, including HL7, FHIR, and HIPAA compliance.
  
• Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, process mapping, and data analysis.
  
• Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  
• Strong project management skills, with experience managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to both technical and non -technical audiences.
  
• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from end -users to senior executives.
  
• Keen attention to detail and analytical mindset to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
• Certification in Business Analysis or Project Management (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
  
• Familiarity with Epic and/or Cerner certification is a plus.
