Job Description - Business Analyst - Telecom Billing

Position title: Business Analyst - Telecom Billing

Experience: 5–8 years

Budget:14 -16.5 LPA

Location: Thiruvananthapuram

Notice period: 15 days - Immediate joiner

Skill set: Telecom Billing Expertise, End -to -end U.S. telecom billing lifecycle management, Strong SQL knowledge, I & Automation Exposure, I/automation tools for billing validation, Client Handling, issue resolution, status reporting

Key Responsibilities:

â Execute and manage complete billing cycles for U.S. -based telecom clients.

â Perform detailed billing validations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.

â Analyze billing data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

â Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth billing operations and process

improvements.

â Support data extraction, reconciliation, and reporting activities as required.

â Directly interact with U.S. clients for requirement gathering, issue resolution,

clarifications, and status updates.

â Participate in client meetings, provide billing insights, and ensure adherence to SLAs

and KPIs.

â Work in overlapping U.S. business hours to ensure seamless communication and

support.

â Leverage AI -powered tools for data analysis, automation, reporting, anomaly detection,

and process optimisation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

â 5–8 years of hands -on experience in USA telecom billing operations.

â Strong understanding of telecom billing processes, revenue cycles, and billing life cycle

management.

â Working knowledge of databases and SQL for data analysis and validation.

â Experience with AI tools and platforms (such as generative AI tools, automation tools, or data analytics AI platforms) to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.

â Strong analytical and problem -solving skills with high attention to detail.

â Excellent communication skills with proven experience handling U.S. client interactions.

â Ability to work during U.S. overlap hours.

â Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Telecommunications,

or a related discipline.

â Preferred: Certifications in Telecom Billing, Business Analysis, or Data Analytics.

This role requires candidates who can work independently, manage multiple priorities, and ensure timely and accurate billing execution.
