Job Description - Business Development Associate

About the Role

WWF -India is seeking dynamic, persuasive, and mission -driven individuals to join our Hyderabad -based tele -fundraising team. As a business development associate, you will be the voice of the world’s leading conservation organization, reaching out to citizens to inspire action and secure the vital resources needed to protect India’s rich biodiversity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Donor Engagement & Awareness: Proactively contact potential and existing donors to spread awareness about India's wildlife and habitats. You will effectively articulate WWF -India’s mission and conservation programs.

  • Campaign Fundraising: Execute high -energy outbound calling campaigns to explain our work clearly and excitingly, converting interest into financial support for our field projects.

  • Relationship Management (The Donor Pyramid): Cultivate long -term relationships with a dedicated network of supporters. Your goal is to move donors up the "pyramid" through consistent engagement and upgrades.

  • Omni -channel Communication: Professionally handle inbound and outbound queries via phone and email, ensuring every supporter interaction is positive and informative.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain meticulous records of donor interactions in our database, ensuring data accuracy and strict confidentiality of supporter information.



Requirements

  • Education: Graduate, Post Graduate, or MBA from a recognized university.

  • Communication Skills: Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory. Proficiency in Telugu is highly preferred to connect with the local Hyderabad donor base effectively.

  • Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to build instant rapport, handle objections with grace, and maintain high energy throughout the day.

  • Target -Oriented: A strong drive to achieve daily and monthly fundraising targets in a fast -paced environment.

  • Background: Experience in Business Development (BD), Public Speaking, or high -end Customer Service is an advantage.

  • Multitasking: Ability to balance calling volume with administrative data entry and follow -up tasks.
