Position : Business Development Associate– Sales (SAAS)

working with distributors and resellers.
Role Overview:
· The Business development Associate will be
responsible for managing and driving sales growth of SAAS products in India.
· This is a field-based role that involves
extensive travel to build relationships with clients and resellers, identify
new market opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer service.
· Based in Central Bangalore, the position
requires on-site client interactions, conducting product demonstrations, and
ensuring successful execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Development:
· Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and
exceed revenue targets.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities
in targeted regions within India.
· Build a strong sales pipeline by engaging with
potential clients and distributors.
2. Client and
Distributor Management:
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with
clients and distributors.
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients,
addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.
· Negotiate and finalize contracts with partners.
3. Market Research
and Analysis:
· Analyse market trends, competitor activities,
and customer requirements in India.
· Provide insights and recommendations to refine
sales strategies and product offerings.
· Stay updated on relevant trade regulations and
compliance requirements.
4. Product
Demonstrations and Presentations:
· Conduct on-site and virtual product
demonstrations tailored to the needs of clients.
· Develop compelling sales presentations to
showcase product value and benefits.
· Collaborate with marketing teams to create
region-specific promotional materials.
5. Travel and Field
Engagement:
· Travel extensively within India to meet clients,
distributors, and resellers.
· Represent the company at trade shows,
exhibitions, and client meetings.
· Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders
through regular face-to-face interactions.
6. Reporting and CRM
Management:
· Use CRM tools to manage leads, track sales
activities, and analyse performance metrics.
· Prepare and present sales reports to the
management team, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of
client interactions and sales activities.
7. Collaboration and
Strategy Development:
· Work closely with internal teams, including
marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales
orders.
· Contribute to the development of long-term
strategies for expanding markets in India.
· Provide feedback to product teams on client
requirements and preferences.
Required Skills and
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business,
Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience:
· 2-5 years of experience in sales, including
selling SaaS products in India.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Sales Skills:
· Strong negotiation, presentation, and
relationship-building skills.
· Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM
tools for managing sales pipelines and client data.
· Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
with fluency in English and any regional languages (preferred).
· Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel and meet
clients.
