Job Description - Business Development BD - Global Markets

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 500000 - Rs 1200000 (ie INR 5-12 LPA)

Min Experience: 2 years

Location: Bengaluru

JobType: full-time

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager – Overseas to support expansion in the US market. Based in Bangalore (Remote-friendly), this role plays a key part in driving inquiry generation, executing outbound campaigns, developing proposals, and supporting end-to-end business development activities. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional research teams to build strong prospect pipelines, create compelling client proposals, and maintain structured BD processes. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy global market exposure, and are passionate about helping businesses leverage customer insights to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate inquiries through online research, networking, outbound outreach, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand prospective client needs, challenges, and market positioning.
  • Design and execute targeted email and online campaigns to engage and nurture potential clients.
  • Develop clear positioning strategies tailored to customer pain points and industry requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal research and delivery teams to gather detailed project briefs.
  • Create customized, persuasive proposals aligned with client objectives.
  • Participate in client calls and meetings to support discussions, clarify requirements, and ensure smooth engagement.
  • Assist the Business Development Head in tracking proposals, managing pipelines, and following up with leads to improve conversion rates.
  • Coordinate and manage appointment scheduling and calendar activities for US-based leadership.
  • Maintain and update prospect databases, sales trackers, and CRM systems.
  • Develop sales collaterals and case study documentation in coordination with internal teams.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify new growth opportunities.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 2–6 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in global markets.
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales processes and online lead generation strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and translate client needs into compelling proposals.
  • High ownership mindset with strong follow-up and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders across geographies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools and email campaign platforms.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA preferred.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently without shift-based schedules.
