Job Description - Business Development Executive

This role is for one of Weekday’s clients
Salary range: Rs 300000 - Rs 420000 (ie INR 3-4.2 LPA)
Min Experience: 1 years
Location: Navi Mumbai
JobType: full-time

We are looking for a motivated, results-driven Lead Generation Specialist/Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team. You will play a key role in generating qualified B2B leads and scheduling appointments for our sales team, with a focus on IT and SaaS solutions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and qualify potential B2B leads via cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn, and online resources
  2. Conduct in-depth research on target industries, companies, and decision-makers
  3. Develop and execute effective cold outreach strategies
  4. Set appointments for the sales team with qualified prospects
  5. Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for lead generation and appointments
  6. Collaborate with the sales team for smooth handover and follow-up
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and product knowledge
  8. Contribute to process improvements in lead generation
  9. International cold calling experience is a plus

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  2. 1–2 years of experience in lead generation/appointment setting/sales, preferably in IT or SaaS
  3. Proven success in B2B lead generation and appointment setting
  4. Solid understanding of B2B sales and IT/SaaS products
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport
  7. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and multitasking abilities
  8. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a team player
  9. International cold calling experience is a strong advantage
