Job Description - Business Development Executive


Overview:


The Business Development Executive is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the Marketing Team. This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, discovery and individual research.


Job Requirements:



  1. Understanding products and services offered by Cordis and articulating its functions.

  2. Benefits to external audiences.

  3. Generating new leads with the aim of creating more sales.

  4. Passing the leads to the Marketing team.

  5. Follow up through email & cold calling in international market

  6. Closing the deal by regular follow up with the clients

  7. Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.

  8. Provide weekly report to the reporting manager


Required Experience and Skills:



  1. 1-4 years telemarketing and/or inside sales experience.

  2. Ready to learn new technologies.

  3. Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas.

  4. A proven track record of strong client relationships.

  5. Excellent client service skills.

  6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Technical Experience:



  • Good understanding of MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
