Job Description - Business Development Executive

We are looking for a Mumbai -based BD executive who can own outbound lead generation, build targeted lead pools, run multi -channel outreach, and help convert the right conversations into opportunities. This role is for someone who is commercially curious, data -aware, and comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders. Based on performance, the role may transition into a sales position later.

 

Fornax is a Data & Analytics firm at an inflection point. With a new product in place, we are now scaling our growth efforts. We work closely with businesses across Ecommerce, Retail, Manufacturing, and Process industries - helping them move from fragmented data and manual reporting to clear, decision -ready insights.

 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and refine target ICPs
  • Build and maintain lead generation pools
  • Run multi -channel outreach campaigns
  • Track outreach performance and improve based on data
  • Engage with prospects and hold first -level business conversations
  • Support the transition from lead generation to sales opportunities


Requirements

Must Have

  • 1 -2 years of experience in BD, lead generation, outbound sales, or sales development
  • Exposure to CRM tools, sequencing tools, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar prospecting tools
  • AI -native working style, with the ability to use AI for research & execution
  • Ability to identify ICPs and build lead lists accordingly
  • Familiarity with campaign -led outbound and lead nurturing

Good to Have

  • Experience in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Good understanding of sales funnels and qualification
  • Exposure to working with founders, agencies, or consultative service businesses
