Business Development Executive (BDE)

Company Description Codeyoung offers coding courses for children and teenagers aged 5 to 17, focusing on a hands-on curriculum with clear learning outcomes. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive (BDE) role based in HSR Layout, Bengaluru, with a 6-day working structure. The BDE will engage with prospective parents and guardians, explain Codeyoung’s programs, and guide them through the enrollment process. Daily responsibilities include handling inbound and outbound calls, following up on leads, scheduling and conducting demos or counseling sessions, and maintaining accurate records in CRM tools. The role involves coordinating with marketing and operations teams to support campaigns, improve outreach, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new students. The BDE is expected to meet defined sales targets, provide timely reporting, and represent Codeyoung professionally in all interactions.

Qualifications
 

• Strong visual communication abilities, including Graphic Design and Graphics skills, to support marketing and promotional material.


• Proficiency in Layout Design and Page Layout to collaborate on digital and print collateral that effectively presents courses and offerings.


• Understanding of Digital Marketing principles to align business development activities with online campaigns and lead-generation initiatives.


• Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in education or EdTech, with a track record of meeting targets.


• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with parents and learners.


• Comfort with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic office software for lead management and reporting.


• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru (HSR Layout) six days a week and adapt to a fast-paced, student-focused environment.


• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
