Job Description - Business Development Executive Software Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and social media outreach.
  • Understand client requirements and present suitable software solutions.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations to prospects.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet individual and team targets.
  • Collaborate with the pre-sales, marketing, and product teams to align on customer needs and value propositions.
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns and events.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM tools.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in software sales or business development (SaaS experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to understand and present complex software products.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
  • Comfortable with travel and field sales if required.
