Job Description: Business Development Executive
Location: Santacruz East, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Depending on Experience)

Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result -oriented Business
Development Executive to drive business growth by identifying and acquiring
new customers across OEMs, wholesalers, railway EPC contractors, and other
industrial sectors. The ideal candidate should possess strong B2B sales
experience, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to manage
the complete sales cycle—from lead generation to order execution and payment
follow -up.
This role requires regular client interactions, field
visits, participation in exhibitions, and close coordination with internal
teams to ensure seamless execution of customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify
and generate new business opportunities from OEMs, Wholesalers, Railway
EPC Contractors, and other industrial clients.
- Develop
and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers through market
research, networking, cold calling, and referrals.
- Visit
potential and existing customers within the assigned territory to build
long -term business relationships.
- Participate
in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to generate quality leads
and expand the customer base.
- Develop
strategic plans to penetrate new markets and increase business
opportunities.
Sales & Customer Relationship Management
- Understand
customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams to prepare
accurate quotations.
- Ensure
timely submission of quotations and maintain regular follow -ups to
maximize conversion into confirmed orders.
- Build
and maintain strong relationships with key decision -makers and handle
sensitive customer accounts professionally.
- Resolve
customer queries, complaints, and product -related issues promptly to
ensure high customer satisfaction.
Order Management & Coordination
- Forward
confirmed Purchase Orders (POs) to the Marketing Coordinator for system
entry and order processing.
- Coordinate
with Production, Planning, Dispatch, Stores, and Packing Departments to
ensure timely execution and delivery of orders.
- Facilitate
customer inspections at the manufacturing facility before dispatch,
wherever required.
- Ensure
customers receive all necessary dispatch documents and shipment -related
information.
- Assist
in resolving material rejection cases and coordinate with internal teams
for timely resolution.
Commercial & Payment Follow -up
- Monitor
outstanding payments and follow up with customers to ensure timely
collections.
- Coordinate
billing, dispatch documentation, and other commercial formalities.
- Maintain
accurate sales records, customer databases, and transaction documentation.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare
daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Maintain
customer records and sales pipelines using ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Provide
regular market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer feedback to
management.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a
related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Business Development, Industrial Sales,
B2B Sales, or Manufacturing Sales.
- Experience
dealing with OEMs, Industrial Customers, EPC Contractors, or Engineering
Companies will be preferred.
- Excellent
communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong
customer relationship management abilities.
- Good
understanding of quotation management, order processing, and commercial
documentation.
- Proficiency
in MS Excel, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness
to travel for customer meetings, exhibitions, and business development
activities.
