Job Description - Business Development Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1000000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 10-20 LPA)

Min Experience: 6 years

Location: Nagpur, Mumbai

JobType: full-timeWe are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth across mid-market and enterprise segments for an AI-powered CRM and automation platform. This role will be responsible for defining and executing market expansion strategies, driving global SaaS revenue, and owning the complete sales lifecycle across India, APAC, US, and EMEA markets.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to position AI-driven CRM solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes, predictable revenue growth, and long-term customer value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute India-led growth strategy aligned with global expansion objectives across mid-market and enterprise segments.
  • Drive enterprise and mid-market sales for AI-powered CRM, analytics, and workflow automation solutions across global markets.
  • Own the end-to-end SaaS sales cycle including pipeline generation, discovery, solutioning, demos, proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Position AI-led CRM solutions around predictive analytics, intelligent automation, digital adoption, and revenue transformation.
  • Track and manage core SaaS revenue metrics including ARR, MRR, pipeline velocity, CAC vs LTV, churn, and forecast accuracy.
  • Scale SaaS revenue from early-stage ARR to multi-million-dollar ARR milestones through structured and repeatable sales motions.
  • Build and maintain strong CXO-level relationships across Sales, Marketing, Revenue, Digital, and IT leadership.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth onboarding, adoption, expansion, and retention.
  • Implement and leverage a modern sales tech stack to ensure pipeline hygiene, data-driven decisions, and revenue predictability.
  • Develop ROI-driven business cases, proposals, and executive-ready pitch decks for enterprise stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales, preferably within AI-led, CRM, or cloud-based platforms.
  • Strong track record of consistent quota achievement with high forecast accuracy.
  • Deep understanding of CRM ecosystems, SaaS business models, AI adoption trends, and enterprise cloud solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with pipeline management, sales analytics, and revenue forecasting.
  • Ability to translate complex AI, data, and automation concepts into clear, business-first value propositions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success achieving sales quotas across multiple consecutive quarters.
  • Experience managing complex enterprise deals and building repeatable sales playbooks.
  • Proven ability to scale ARR in high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS KPIs including CAC, LTV, churn, and pipeline coverage.
  • Experience handling large enterprise deal sizes (USD / INR).
  • Exposure to global markets (APAC, US, EMEA).
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
