Job Description - Business Development Manager

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1500000 - Rs 1800000 (ie INR 15-18 LPA)

Min Experience: 8 years

Location: Bangalore

JobType: full-time

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for the Bengaluru office. This role focuses on building a strong, diversified, and sustainable pipeline of healthcare infrastructure and consulting projects across private healthcare providers, institutional clients, and public sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development initiatives for healthcare infrastructure and consulting projects, including greenfield and brownfield developments
  • Build and expand opportunities across private hospitals, healthcare groups, medical colleges, institutions, and public sector bodies
  • Participate in public sector tendering processes (EOIs, RFQs, RFPs) and support consortium or JV formation where required
  • Develop and manage strategic relationships with hospital promoters, institutional leaders, government officials, architects, EPC/PMC firms, and other key stakeholders
  • Lead end-to-end proposal development, presentations, commercial negotiations, and deal closures
  • Collaborate closely with design, PMC, and project delivery teams to ensure seamless transition from business acquisition to execution
  • Maintain strong pipeline visibility, revenue forecasting, and contribute to branch-level growth and profitability
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop long-term growth strategies within the healthcare infrastructure segment

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • 8–15 years of experience in Business Development within Infrastructure, PMC, Design, EPC, or Consulting environments
  • Strong exposure to healthcare sector projects, particularly private healthcare infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of public sector tendering processes and documentation
  • Established professional network within the healthcare and infrastructure ecosystem
  • Ability to engage and influence promoters, institutional heads, and senior stakeholders
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • High ownership mindset with maturity and long-term strategic orientation
  • Entrepreneurial approach with the ability to build and scale business opportunities
  • Strong commercial acumen and revenue-focused mindset
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as required
