Salary range: Rs 200000 - Rs 550000 (ie INR 2-5.5 LPA)
Min Experience: 4 years
Location: Chennai
JobType: full-time

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with proven experience in the Interior, Decorative, or Architectural industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving sales growth through strategic planning and execution.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities in the Interior and Decorative industries.
  • Identify, approach, and build relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and corporates.
  • Achieve sales targets and expand the company’s market presence.
  • Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitors, and opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain strong post-sales relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (design, operations, and project management) to deliver client requirements.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
     

Key Requirements:
 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales in Interior, Decorative, or Architectural products/services.
  • Strong network of architects, interior designers, and industry professionals. 
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
