Business Development Manager - Staffing

About the Role:

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager - Staffing to lead client acquisition efforts across staff augmentation and permanent hiring services. The ideal candidate is a dynamic professional with a strong background in recruitment sales and a passion for building long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities across various industries (IT, Pharma, Engineering, BFSI, etc.)


• Pitch staffing solutions—including contract and full-time placements—to clients at all levels, including CXOs and hiring managers


• Build and nurture a strong pipeline of prospective clients and partnerships


• Own the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation and proposal development to contract closure


• Collaborate with internal recruitment/delivery teams to align client needs with delivery capabilities


• Prepare sales reports, maintain CRM data, and forecast revenue accurately


• Stay current on market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven success in business development in the staffing/recruitment industry


• Strong understanding of staff augmentation and full-time hiring models


• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills


• Ability to build strategic relationships and close high-value deals


• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently


• Experience across IT, Pharma, Engineering, or Healthcare recruitment is preferred
