Business Development Representative (BDR)

About the Opportunity
- Cadworks India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR) to support business growth by identifying prospects, generating quality leads, and creating new sales opportunities. The ideal candidate should have practical exposure to sales, lead generation and customer engagement.

Role & Responsibilities
- Prospect and source new leads through cold calling, LinkedIn, email campaigns, referrals and other relevant channels.
- Understand prospect requirements and assess their suitability as potential customers.
- Present and explain company products/services clearly to prospective clients.
- Follow up consistently with leads to move them through the sales funnel.
- Assist in managing the sales journey from initial engagement through conversion.
- Work towards achieving assigned sales and lead-generation targets.
- Record and regularly update prospect and customer details in CRM systems or trackers.
- Build positive and professional relationships with potential customers.
- Conduct basic market research to identify new prospects and business opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer on boarding process.
- Maintain daily activity records and share reports related to calls, leads, follow-ups and conversions.

Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- 3–5 months of experience in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, Inside Sales or a similar role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of sales and prospecting techniques.
- Strong follow-up, convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to identify, assess and engage potential customers.
- Goal-oriented, proactive and self-driven attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a target-based and fast-paced environment.
