We are looking for a commercially driven Business Lead to take end-to-end ownership of a growing consumer brand. This role is designed for an entrepreneurial leader who can think like a founder while leveraging established teams and resources across creative, performance marketing, technology, ecommerce operations, and business development.

You will be accountable for the brand's strategy, P&L, growth, profitability, customer journey, and day-to-day business decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with hands-on execution and is comfortable making decisions in an evolving, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

P&L & Business Ownership

• Take complete ownership of the brand's P&L, including revenue, margins, profitability, and growth.
• Develop business plans and strategies to achieve sustainable revenue and profitability targets.
• Monitor business performance and identify opportunities, risks, and areas requiring intervention.
• Balance top-line growth with healthy margins and long-term business value.

Brand & Growth Strategy

• Define the brand's overall strategy, priorities, positioning, and growth roadmap.
• Develop customer acquisition and retention strategies across relevant channels.
• Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Work with performance marketing, creative, ecommerce, and technology teams to execute growth priorities.
• Build and optimize the customer journey from acquisition through retention.

Product & Merchandising

• Provide strategic direction on product launches, assortment, merchandising, and portfolio priorities.
• Identify products or categories to launch, scale, improve, or discontinue.
• Use customer and commercial data to guide product and merchandising decisions.
• Ensure product strategy remains aligned with customer demand and profitability objectives.

Pricing & Unit Economics

• Own pricing strategy, promotional decisions, and commercial levers.
• Monitor unit economics, contribution margins, customer acquisition costs, and profitability.
• Develop strategies to improve margins without compromising sustainable growth.
• Evaluate promotional and pricing initiatives based on measurable business impact.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Direct shared teams across creative, performance marketing, ecommerce operations, technology, and business development.
• Establish clear priorities, expectations, and success metrics for cross-functional teams.
• Influence teams without relying solely on formal reporting relationships.
• Ensure effective execution of strategic initiatives across functions.

Performance & Leadership Reporting

• Track key business and growth metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
• Prepare regular performance updates covering brand health, opportunities, risks, and future plans.
• Present recommendations and business performance to senior leadership.
• Continuously evaluate initiatives and adjust priorities based on results.

What's Makes You a Great Fit

• 4+ years of relevant experience in D2C, ecommerce, consumer brands, business management, growth, or related roles.
• Proven experience owning or significantly contributing to P&L and business performance.
• Strong understanding of revenue growth, profitability, margins, and unit economics.
• Experience developing and executing brand and growth strategies.
• Strong understanding of customer acquisition, retention, pricing, promotions, and merchandising.
• Highly analytical approach with the ability to make decisions based on data rather than assumptions.
• Comfortable working with AI-powered tools to improve productivity, research, analysis, and decision-making.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to influence teams without direct authority and drive execution through clarity and accountability.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and creating processes where none exist.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to move seamlessly between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
• Strong commercial judgment, ownership mentality, and focus on measurable business outcomes.
