Business Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

• Drive new business acquisition by onboarding new anchors for Supply Chain Finance (SCF) including Vendor Finance, Dealer Finance, and related working capital products.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing anchor clients to ensure consistent business flow and portfolio quality.
• Engage with senior stakeholders such as CFOs, Finance Heads, and Directors of corporate clients to understand their business models and present tailored SCF solutions.
• Conduct regular client meetings to explore new business opportunities, address concerns, and build long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely execution of client requirements, monitor turnaround times (TAT), and track service delivery.
• Maintain portfolio hygiene by ensuring timely renewals, closure of deferrals, and effective follow-ups.
• Support clients in routine disbursements and resolve operational or transactional queries.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Credit, Operations, and Accounts for efficient approval processes, issue resolution, disbursements, and overall client servicing.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in managing Supply Chain Finance or Working Capital solutions in banks or NBFCs.
• Strong understanding of various industry sectors, business models, and market dynamics to enable effective business sourcing and conversion.
• Basic knowledge of financial statements, working capital terminologies, and key financial ratios.
• Prior experience in handling mid-to-large corporate portfolios within the SCF/working capital space.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in English and Hindi, and the ability to engage in business-level discussions.
• Proficiency in pre-sanction and post-sanction documentation processes.
