Job Title: ESP (Sports, Events & Talent) | WPP Media

Location: Mumbai
Team: WPP Media

Role Overview

We’re looking for someone who can lead and grow the ESP (Entertainment, Sports & Partnerships) vertical within WPP Media. This role sits at the intersection of culture, content, and commerce — driving impactful partnerships across sports, live events, and talent ecosystems for brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Sports Marketing & Partnerships




• Identify and build strategic partnerships across leagues, teams, and sporting platforms


• Conceptualize and execute brand integrations within key sporting properties


• Drive end-to-end deal-making including negotiations, rights management, and execution




• Live Events




• Lead planning and execution of on-ground events


• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-impact experiences




• Talent Management




• Build and manage relationships with celebrities


• Lead talent-led campaigns from onboarding to execution


• Identify emerging talent and cultural trends relevant to brands




• Client Leadership




• Act as a strategic partner to clients, understanding their business and brand objectives


• Pitch innovative ESP-led ideas and solutions


• Ensure seamless execution and delivery across projects




• Commercial & Growth




• Drive revenue through partnerships and sponsorships


• Identify new business opportunities within ESP

What We’re Looking For

• 2-3 years of experience in sports marketing, event management, talent


• Strong network across sports bodies, event agencies, and talent ecosystem


• Proven experience in deal-making, partnerships, and execution


• Ability to think culturally and translate trends into brand opportunities


• Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
