Business Manager Packaging Coatings

Manages the overall Sales, Technical and Technical Service organization.  Key responsibilities include meeting financial / operational goals, managing key accounts directly, making sales and related business strategies, managing relationships with customers and internal staff etc.  

Key Responsibilities

• The role is responsible for delivering the plan P&L, both sales and operating profit
• Driving revenue growth - organically, acquisition of new business and increasing share of wallet.  
• Ensuring operational excellence in Sales, Technical services and technical groups.

Strategic Growth & Sales Leadership

• Making budget and planning
• Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to acquire new customers and to increase share of business. 
• Lead Develop and maintain relationships with senior levels at key customers, lead high-value contract negotiations. 
• Ensure use of value selling techniques and tools to maximise benefits for customers and the organization
• Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and ensure optimum utilization of all sales tools and CRM

Operational & Technical Oversight

• Align technical service and support functions with the objective of business growth. 
• Improve customer satisfaction levels through service and improvement support to retain existing customers
• Monitor progress on new business acquisition, ensure alignment within the team on project objectives and timelines. 

Team Leadership & Development

• Implement performance metrics (KPIs) and incentive programs for Sales, Technical, and Service teams.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and succession planning for the entire organization.
• Working with internal functions
• Working with Supply Chain for material forecasting and planning
• Work with procurement for value creation on RM localisation / substitution/ Margin improvement projects
• Work with HR for recruitment and employee engagement.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• 20-25 years of progressive sales experience, including 10+ years of management experience. 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Chemical Graduate or equivalent education. Master’s degree in marketing / business administration / technical field is desirable.
