Business/Sales Head

The Corporate Sales Head will be responsible for driving business growth through corporate and B2B insurance sales. The role will involve developing new business opportunities, managing the complete sales cycle, driving renewals, coordinating with insurance companies, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. The position will focus on Non-Motor, Health, Marine, Fire, Engineering, Liability, Property, Infrastructure, GMC, GPA, and other General Insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive corporate and B2B insurance sales across multiple General Insurance product categories.


• Generate new business through networking, referrals, strategic partnerships, market development, and business leads.


• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve business and revenue targets.


• Identify insurance requirements and recommend appropriate coverage and risk management solutions.


• Possess strong knowledge of Infrastructure, GMC, GPA, Marine, Fire, Engineering, Liability, Property, and other Non-Motor insurance products.


• Explain product features, coverage, exclusions, terms and conditions, and premium structures.


• Coordinate with insurance companies for quotations, underwriting, negotiations, policy issuance, endorsements, and renewals.


• Negotiate pricing, coverage, terms, and conditions with insurers to obtain competitive insurance solutions.


• Manage the complete sales process from lead generation to conversion and policy issuance.


• Drive renewal business and ensure timely follow-up to maximize retention and revenue.


• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across different insurance product categories.


• Coordinate with internal teams, insurers, underwriting, operations, and claims teams for smooth execution and service delivery.


• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, product developments, and industry opportunities.


• Build strategic relationships with insurance companies, brokers, consultants, and business partners.


• Prepare sales forecasts, revenue reports, pipeline reports, and periodic business updates.


• Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of operational and service-related matters.


• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable insurance guidelines.


• Lead, guide, and motivate the sales team to achieve assigned business targets.


• Develop sales strategies and implement action plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives.
