Learn more about our benefits. \n\nAs a Buyer, you\u2019ll be responsible for purchasing the materials, supplies, machinery, and services that equip our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. You\u2019ll collaborate across teams and showcase your organization and strategic planning skills to monitor inventory, manage delivery scheduling, negotiate with suppliers, and procure essential items that transform possibilities into realities for our customers and teams.\n\nRole Responsibilities:\n\n * Ensure supply continuity to enable manufacturing with speed and quality. Execute and manage pull-ins/push-outs with suppliers to meet MRP demand\n\n * Lead cross-functional team to drive problem resolution for supply issues with key stakeholders (i.e. engineering, manufacturing, Program Managers, Supplier Account Management)\n\n * Drive purchasing activities to execute purchase at the lowest cost consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.\n\n * Lead inventory and E\u0026Z reduction efforts\n\n * Manage and lead assigned Purchasing Projects (i.e. Manage cost, schedule, and scope as required)\n\n * Manage complex and sensitive information with supplier leadership team and internal stakeholders\n\n * Contribute to purchasing process improvement within the team and Act as trainer for department purchasing activities\n\n\n\n\n \nMinimum Qualifications: \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree\n\n * 2-4 years of experience\n\n\n\n\n \nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Strong knowledge of industry best practices, key business drivers, competition in the marketplace\n\n * Demonstrated leadership skills to lead small projects and build consensus, as needed\n\n\n\n\nAdditional Information\n\nTime Type:\n\nFull time\n\nEmployee Type:\n\nAssignee / Regular\n\nTravel:\n\nRelocation Eligible:\n\nNo\n\nApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
