C++ Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior C++ Engineer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and enhancing legacy software products. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in C++ programming, MFC, Windows-based application development, and advanced debugging techniques. This role involves analyzing complex customer-reported issues, performing root cause analysis, resolving production defects, and ensuring product stability and performance. The candidate will work closely with engineering, support, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions while contributing to product modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance legacy software products.
  


• Analyze and troubleshoot customer-reported issues and provide timely resolutions.
  


• Perform root cause analysis for complex technical problems.
  


• Debug application crashes, performance issues, and production defects.
  


• Analyze customer-generated dump files using debugging tools.
  


• Identify and resolve memory leaks and resource management issues.
  


• Develop and maintain Windows-based applications using C++ and MFC.
  


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product enhancements and bug fixes.
  


• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  


• Support product releases, maintenance activities, and customer escalations.
  


• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge-sharing materials.
  


• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to development planning and execution.

Qualifications
