C# Test Automation Developer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development with C# .NET.
  


• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using C# or Python.
  


• Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand industrial automation systems and translate them into realistic test scenarios and simulators.
  


• Work closely with development and QA teams to validate software deliverables through continuous testing.
  


• Build simulation modules that replicate real-world industrial components and processes to support automated testing.
  


• Create tools and utilities to streamline test automation, debugging, and continuous validation of embedded or control system software.
  


• Analyze and interpret test results, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and drive defect resolution.
  


• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of software quality practices and engineering standards.
  


• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks such as NUnit, MSTest, xUnit, or custom-built frameworks.
  


• Solid understanding of industrial automation systems, including PLC logic, SCADA, HMI, or equivalent technologies.
  


• Experience in developing or working with simulation tools/environments for test automation.
  


• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA/DA is a strong plus.
  


• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git or Azure DevOps.
  


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  


• Domain expertise in process automation, manufacturing systems, or robotics.
  


• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
