CA- MIS Analyst Retail Finance

Department: Finance

Key Responsibilities:
● Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for various
stakeholders including management and departmental heads.
● Collect, validate, and organize financial and operational data from different
departments for reporting purposes.
● Perform basic data analysis to identify key performance trends, variances, and
insights to support business decisions.
● Support the preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and performance
summaries for retail operations.
● Assist in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and security of financial and operational
data within MIS systems.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data consistency and alignment
with financial objectives.
● Support the implementation and enhancement of new reporting tools and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
● Contribute to the automation of reporting processes and data visualization initiatives.
● Provide analytical support during budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
exercises.
● Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial reporting
standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
● Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1 year of experience in retail or a similar industry.
● Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and retail
performance metrics.
● Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, and other data visualization or reporting tools.
● Familiarity with ERP/MIS systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally.
● Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
● Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
● Effective communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
● Experience with data automation or SQL-based data extraction will be an added
advantage.
