Job Description - CAD Engineer - Civil

Purpose:

Understanding Civil & Structural design requirements of the project and provide necessary drawings support to the
Engineering team.

Key Job responsibilities:

Single point responsibility for Ground / roof mounted solar systems by doing basic system design, arriving at layouts, bill of material and SLDs as a part of submission to customer in coordination with Business
development / Engineering / project teams.
Creating Accurate CAD drawings from available input data and updating project drawing list.
Systematic saving of CAD drawings, keeping server organized and updating projects folders with revisions.
Seeking clarity from engineers and project managers when you are not 100% certain on data provided.
Reviewing and checking drawings for errors, before being sent to any internal or external customers.
Responsible for on time preparation of necessary drawings for bids and projects.

Requirements

Key accountabilities:

Expertise in latest version AutoCAD & MS office package

Expertise in running Google Sketchup

Excellent communication skills – written and spoken – English and Hindi
