Job Description - CAM Programmer - Powermill 5 axis

Manufacturing engineer

Roles and Responsibilities: -

o Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes.

o Conduct time studies and implement lean manufacturing techniques.

o Specify and design tools, jigs, and fixtures for production.

o Ensure tools and equipment meet precision and tolerance requirements.

o Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100, FAA).

o Implement corrective actions for non-conformance issues.

o Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during manufacturing.

o Monitor and improve manufacturing efficiency and output.

o Specify and design tools, jigs, and fixtures for production.

o Collaborate with vendors to procure specialized equipment.

o Ensure tools and equipment meet precision and tolerance requirements.

o Develop processes and tooling for new products.

o Identify and implement process improvements for cost reduction and efficiency.

o Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation.

Qualification:

Professional Experience

Industry Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in machined manufacturing or a related field.

• Experience in Powermill CNC machine programming

• Proficiency in understanding complex manufacturing processes.

• Deep understanding of aerospace standard (AS9100, NADCAP requirements).

• Knowledge of ITAR compliance and export control regulations.

• Expertise in material properties.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for production decisions.

• Strong ability to understand GD&T requirements.
