We are seeking a passionate camera system architect to join the multimedia arch team in Bangalore, India. The team creates embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets that power advanced mobile, automotive, IoT, and AR/VR devices. Our solutions leverage dedicated hardware, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores to provide state-of-the-art photographs, video recordings, and machine intelligence. As a camera architect engineer, you will play a key role in analyzing and defining the architecture of new Spectra image signal processors (ISPs) inside Snapdragon SoCs for ADAS, XR, premium mobile markets. \n\nKey responsibilities:\n\n\u00b7 Perform architecture analysis to compare architecture options and align teams to a recommendation \n\n\u00b7 Work with engineering teams to define data and control flows \n\n\u00b7 Explore ISP architecture options including hardware, firmware, software and the programming/control models of Spectra ISPs \n\nAll Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company. \n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nAcademic/industry experiences in the following areas:\n\n\u00b7 Image/video signal processing \n\n\u00b7 Image sensor technology \n\n\u00b7 SoC \n\n\u00b7 System architecture and/or hardware micro-architecture and/or embedded software/firmware \n\n\u00b7 Power, performance, area analysis \n\n\u00b7 Experience with modern camera technologies and camera ISP pipeline. \n\n\u00b7 Good communication skills.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n\u00b7 Master\u0027s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. \n\n\u00b7 5 years or more of experience in architecture/micro-architecture.\n\nKeywords\n\nCamera, ISP, embedded, multimedia, image, algorithms, architect, micro-architecture\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nMaster\u0027s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. \nOR \nPhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
