Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
Conduct and interpret diagnostic procedures such as echocardiography, TMT (Treadmill Test), Holter monitoring, and stress echocardiography.
Assist in and perform invasive cardiac procedures including cardiac catheterization, coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), and angioplasty.
Participate in the implantation and follow -up of pacemakers and other cardiac rhythm management devices.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and current guidelines.
Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity.
Maintain accurate, up -to -date medical records and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.
Stay current with advancements in cardiology through continuous professional development and participation in clinical audits.
Provide patient education on heart health, medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and preventive strategies.

Requirements:

MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in MD in General Medicine or DNB in Internal Medicine (or equivalent).
Completion of a recognized residency or internship in Internal Medicine with a focus on cardiology.
Hands -on training and proficiency in echocardiography, TMT, Holter monitoring, cardiac catheterization, angiography, angioplasty, and pacemaker implantation.
Strong understanding of cardiovascular pathophysiology, diagnostic criteria, and treatment protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with patients and colleagues.
Ability to work effectively in a high -pressure clinical environment with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical documentation.
Valid medical license and registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body.
Willingness to participate in on -call rotations and emergency cardiac interventions as required.
