Bengaluru (On-site) | Competitive, based on experience + ESOPs
As we head into our launch in early 2027, we're hiring a Care Coordinator to be the test taker's main point of contact throughout their process, from booking to follow through.
You will guide families through the test journey, hold follow-up conversations, and where necessary, bring in the medical team when an interaction requires a clinician.
This is not a diagnosing or prescribing role.
You will be the first line of interaction with our customers and set the tone for the high standard of care and service they can expect. You will be expected to be precise, caring, articulate, and de-escalate hard moments with genuine empathy.
We work with people getting a cancer screening test for themselves or someone they love, so empathy and kindness aren't mere buzzwords for us.
What You'll Do
Be the trusted point of care and coordination, throughout a patient's care journey; especially when they have no one else to turn to
Handle healthcare queries by phone and video: information about the test, handling anxieties and concerns around the test, operational queries around payments, timelines etc.
Ensure adherence to their care plan and monitor their progress, anticipating bottlenecks or barriers.
Check in proactively with customers during the test process; ensure continuity and comfort from start to finish
Explain test results in plain language and, without pushing, help customers see the value of regular testing.
Coordinate logistics and support transitions of care: appointments, diagnostic tests, imaging, cashless navigation and TPA coordination, and referrals
Own patient education and advocate for patients at every turn, ensuring their needs and rights are respected
Escalate symptom-related, diagnostic, or medically sensitive questions to senior healthcare team members through defined paths.
Manage patient electronic health records
Must-haves
Fluency in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
Ability to pass a case study handling an entire family unit, with several members, concerns, and decision-makers on the line.
Experience with TPA and cashless insurance navigation with hospitals.
Comfortable working with digital interfaces and dashboards; plus if you can help product teams improve these dashboards through valid feature recommendations
Nice-to-haves
AYUSH qualification (BAMS, BHMS, or similar) OR experience as a clinical research coordinator or in similar patient-facing roles.
Science background through 10th grade.
4 or more languages.
Ability to travel locally at short notice
Comfortable with ambiguous problems that have no playbook.
What You'll Get
Working and growing at a highly ambitious company that's solving a difficult and meaningful problem
ESOPs in a well-funded, pre-revenue company backed by Accel India, Berkeley's House Fund, and other leading global investors.
A small, interdisciplinary team spanning engineers, scientists, and working detection dogs. The office is never boring.
Competitive salary, health insurance, and flexible time-off.
How we evaluate this role
Logical Problem Solving
General coordination ability (cashless coordination, operational queries, others)
Taking down a patient history + immediate coordination plan (EHR style)
