Cash and Trade Proc Rep C05 - Teller

This is a Teller is a position responsible for assisting with the execution of branch activities including the day to day delivery of client-facing services and processing transactions in coordination with the Customer Service function and provides a quality service at the window through the operation of services and products.

• Verify that the movements of cash transmitted at the end of the day coincide with the accounting and cash closing to obtain cash settlement and avoid immobilizations.

• Serve as the first point of contact for Citi clients and provide a positive first impression through friendly and efficient customer service

• Complete basic and advanced Teller transactions, including liquidation, draft issuances, in house transfers, draft cancellations, and account updates

• Adhere to bank policies, operational controls, and regulatory procedures

• Perform efficient and accurate banking transactions including managing cash supply for the branch, processing incoming/outgoing cash deposits, and maintaining branch vault cash

• Perform cash management operations, such as cash handling, check processing, return items and lock-box operations

• Provide processing assistance for firm payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity

• Aid with processing firm payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows and wholesale card activity

• Serve as a subject matter expert for User Acceptance Training (UAT) and training initiatives; train new team members and lower level personnel

• Participate in compliance related activities to minimize losses

• Assist with cash & trade operational project needs

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you would ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent

• 2-4 years of relevant experience

• Demonstrated basic experience in cash management processing and transaction services

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and data entry skills
