Cash Application Specialist

Intro:

As a Cash Application Specialist, you will be
processing customer payments. Someone who is highly organized and thrives in a

Some of the things
you’ll be doing:

·       Daily processing and application
of customer payments

·       Researching of issues related to
unidentified payments·

·       Processing of customer refunds
related to duplicate or erroneous payments

·       Handling of credit card
chargebacks and returned check deposits

·       Processing of adjustments related
to cash posting discrepancies

What technical skills,
experience, and qualifications do you need?

·       Graduate/Postgraduate
with Accounting as a Major

·       4 -6
years of experience in a Finance/Accounting environment

·       Grasps
accounting, auditing, and internal control concepts and can apply the same to
CSC’s business environment

·       General
knowledge of various banking transactions (ACH, Wire Transfer, Credit Card,
etc.)

·       Knowledge
of Microsoft Office applications and ERP (Oracle/SAP software preferably)

·       Knowledge
of managing cash applications with multiple foreign currency is a plus

·       Excellent
analytical and problem -solving skills, with excellent attention to the details

·       Enjoy
working in a team environment

·       Organized
and able to handle multiple priorities in a continuous improvement environment

·       Self -motivated
and adapts to change

·       Exposure
to web banking software

·       Provides
great service to internal and external customers by making a determined effort
to resolve problems
