About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Category Manager – Digital Gold to lead and grow our digital gold business segment. As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, enhancing customer experience, and optimizing the product portfolio for the digital gold category. You will be responsible for end-to-end category ownership, including product strategy, pricing, partner relationships, marketing coordination, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate should have a keen understanding of digital financial products, customer behavior in the fintech space, and a strong analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Ownership:
    Manage the full lifecycle of the Digital Gold category — from product planning, roadmap, and development to launch and continuous optimization.
  • Strategic Planning:
    Define category strategy and targets in alignment with company goals; identify new growth opportunities and innovation within the digital gold ecosystem.
  • Business Development:
    Collaborate with external digital gold partners and suppliers to expand offerings, enhance pricing models, and improve customer propositions.
  • Data-Driven Analysis:
    Monitor and analyze performance metrics, customer trends, and market dynamics; use insights to optimize product assortment, pricing, and user experience.
  • Marketing & Promotions:
    Partner with marketing, product, and growth teams to plan and execute campaigns, promotions, and product launches that drive engagement and sales.
  • Customer Experience:
    Work closely with UX/UI and customer support teams to ensure seamless onboarding, transaction experience, and post-purchase service.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    Ensure adherence to regulatory and security guidelines for digital investment products, working closely with legal and compliance teams.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Liaise with internal stakeholders including product, engineering, finance, and operations teams to ensure effective and efficient category management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in category management, product management, or business strategy within fintech, e-commerce, or digital investment sectors.
  • Proven experience in managing a financial or digital asset category (digital gold, mutual funds, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of digital payments and investment ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, or other analytical platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment and take full ownership of outcomes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience working with digital gold providers such as MMTC-PAMP, SafeGold, or Augmont.
  • Familiarity with mobile-first user experiences and app-based digital product management.
  • Understanding of consumer fintech regulations and trends.
