Category Manager: BDS

About the Role

Dentalkart is seeking an experienced Category Manager with strong dental domain expertise and a sharp commercial mindset to lead and scale assigned dental categories. This is a full -time onsite role based at our Chhatarpur, New Delhi office.

The role involves end -to -end ownership of category performance, including vendor management, assortment strategy, pricing, and revenue growth, while working closely with cross -functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage assigned dental product categories end -to -end
  

• Drive category growth through effective assortment planning, pricing strategies, and promotions
  

• Build and manage strong relationships with vendors, brands, and manufacturers to ensure availability and competitiveness
  

• Analyze sales performance, margins, inventory health, and market trends
  

• Identify new product opportunities and onboard relevant brands and SKUs
  

• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams for seamless execution
  

• Develop and execute category -level business plans aligned with overall company objectives
  

• Ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements
  

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: BDS + MBA (Mandatory)
  

• Experience: 4–8 years in category management, product management, or commercial roles
  

• Strong understanding of dental products, instruments, and consumables
  

• Proven experience in pricing strategy, margin optimization, and P&L ownership
  

• Ability to thrive in a fast -paced, high -growth, onsite environment
  

• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
