Category Manager - Quick Commerce

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• Hands-on experience managing quick-commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, BigBasket or similar.
• Strong understanding of GMV, take rates, ROAS, contribution margin and inventory turns.
• Strong Excel and data orientation.
• Strong commercial negotiation capability.

Our client is a growing Indian consumer brand operating in the home fragrance and lifestyle space. The company is building a strong presence across digital, marketplace and quick-commerce channels and operates in a fast-paced, founder-led environment.

JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Own relationships with category, buying, growth and commercial teams across quick-commerce platforms.
• Drive category strategy including hero SKUs, pricing, pack sizes and new product launches.
• Improve fill rates, dark-store availability and forecast accuracy.
• Manage visibility across search, sponsored placements, banners, collections and platform events.
• Track and improve GMV, commercial performance and category profitability.
• Build dashboards and reporting systems to support business decisions.
• Develop a repeatable launch playbook for new SKUs across quick-commerce platforms.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
• Graduate/Postgraduate degree from a recognised institution.
• Up to 4 years of total professional experience.
• Candidates with relevant experience from digital-first consumer brands managing quick-commerce channels may also be considered.
